NUI Chancellor Election - Application for Voting Papers (CLOSED)
Convocation Election to Elect NUI Chancellor 17 October 2024 at 10 a.m.
The election of the Chancellor of the National University of Ireland, to succeed Dr Maurice Manning in 2024, will take place at a meeting of Convocation to be held in the National University of Ireland, 49 Merrion Square, Dublin 2, on 17 October 2024 at 10 a.m. The poll will remain open for one hour.
Extract from NUI Statute 228, 1 (1)(2)
"The members of Convocation...may vote either in person at the Election or by post, and...a voting paper shall be sent only to those members who shall have applied for one in writing before a specified date."
Convocation consists of the Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor, the Members of Senate, the Professors and Lecturers, and the Registered Graduates of the University.
Latest date for receipt of applications: Wednesday 9th October 2024
Voting papers will be issued from Monday 22nd July 2024 |
