On 18 October, 2012 the NUI Registrar, Dr Attracta Halpin, on behalf of the Chancellor, conferred degrees and diplomas on nineteen students remaining in Milltown Institute. Dr Halpin made particular mention of the Degree of Doctor of Ministry (DMin), awarded by NUI for the first timein 2012. ‘This professional doctorate’ she stated, ‘very much reflects what is happening in doctoral education, both nationally and internationally’
