PAC extends closing date for applications to the Professional Masters in Education

Supply of Teachers in Priority Subjects 2018 programme (STIPS2018):
PAC extends closing date for applications to the Professional Masters in Education (PME) to 13 April 2018

With a view to increasing the supply of teachers in subjects of national priority, the Postgraduate Applications Centre (PAC) has extended to Friday 13 April 2018 the closing date for applications to the PME from graduates in these priority subjects. The Minister for Education and Skills Mr Richard Bruton TD has today announced that the universities will provide over 100 extra places on the PME for graduates qualified in these subjects. The priority subjects are: Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Irish, German, French, Italian and Spanish.

If you are qualified in one of these subjects and have already applied to PAC, it is not necessary for you to apply again to be considered under STIPS2018.
