The National University of Ireland condemns the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation. Universities cherish freedom and believe that education is a vehicle for understanding across nations and peoples. This attack on a sovereign nation is an attack on democracy and the freedoms that we hold dear.
Also in our thoughts are members of the University community whose families, friends and colleagues are caught up in, or otherwise impacted by, the aggression.
