2018 NUI Awards Open for Applications
The National University of Ireland is delighted to announce the opening of the 2018 NUI Awards competitions. Every year, NUI grants approximately €1 million of research and scholarship awards to undergraduate students and graduates from UCC, UCD, Maynooth University, NUI Galway, RCSI, NCAD and their affiliate institutions.
This year, NUI particularly encourages applications for the NUI Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the Humanities; the NUI Dr Garret FitzGerald Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Social Sciences and the NUI E J Phelan Fellowship for PhD candidates in any area of International Law in an NUI constituent university. In addition to this, 5 NUI Travelling Studentships will be offered to fund PhD students across the disciplines who will study abroad (wholly or partly) for their doctoral degrees.
NUI also recently launched a collaborative award with the Fulbright Commission in Ireland for early career academics; continues to offer scholarships and prizes for current undergraduate students in NUI institutions and provides grants for academic publishing.
Full details of the 2018 NUI Awards on offer can be found on the NUI website and social media channels.
