The NUI Calendar

The NUI Calendar sets out the history, structure and functions of the National University of Ireland. The Calendar also provides record for each year of the officers of the Constituent Universities and Recognised Colleges, the membership and meetings of the Senate and its sub-committees. It records honorary doctorate degrees conferred by NUI and by the Constituent Universities, doctorate degrees awarded on published works, PhD degrees awarded and the titles of PhD theses. Historical records include past members of Senate, past Vice and Pro-Vice Chancellors, NUI elected representatives in Seanad Éireann since 1938, and all past recipients of honorary doctorate degrees.
